An ERP consultant with three professional disciplines — Japanese CPA, IT consulting, and software engineering — and deep on-site experience in manufacturing.
Passed the Japanese CPA exam while still in university. Joined a major consulting firm after graduation and worked on corporate revitalization, business transformation, and core system replacements. Led high-difficulty projects worth hundreds of millions of yen, and rescued failing projects in crisis — walking the full spectrum of the SI industry, both the good and the bad.
His credo is "be on the floor." Armed with his own programming skills and English fluency, he has often developed software shoulder-to-shoulder with operators next to the factory line, solving the real problems of the shop floor.
In 2015, hearing the frustration on the ground that "systems are too expensive and too rigid," he started contributing to and deploying open-source ERP, while joining a software development company to sharpen the implementation skills that bind accounting, operations, and technology together. In 2024, he founded his own firm. Today he serves as CEO of ERPNext.JP / MY HATCH, supporting the digital transformation of Japan's small and mid-sized enterprises — always from the shop floor.
